This directory was compiled to identify dentists who will care for patients( children) with special needs and establish a statewide network. Dentists responded to a questionnaire when they renewed their South Carolina Dental License. The directory is a tool to be used by health professionals as well as by the layman. The goal is that this directory will facilitate access and referral of individuals9 children) with special health care needs to those dentists listed in the directory. The Duke Endowmment funds the web version of the directory.
