With 8,500 members from 72 countries, The Endocrine Society is the world's largest and most active organization devoted to the research, study and clinical practice of endocrinology. Together, these scientists, educators, clinicians, practicing MDs, nurses and students who make up the organization's membership represent all basic, applied and clinical interests in endocrinology.

6. Scientific Advisory team
The mission of PTNA is to support, pursue, encourage, promote, and, where possible, fund research on pituitary tumors in a sustained and full-time effort to find a cure for pituitary diseases. The site includes infromation on diagnosis of tumors, referral information, calendar of events, support groups, Network newsletter, and bulletin board service. A Spanish version is available.

Provides up-to-date information for thyroid patients and their families. It also provides links to other health and thyroid related organizations and Internet resources. The foundation aims to promote awareness of thyroid disease, and to raise funds for research. English and French versions are available.
