6. Induced After-Death Communication
The induced after-death communication procedure helps someone grieving for a deceased loved one to experience a feeling of reconnection with the deceased to heal grief and its accompanying emotions: trauma, anger, guilt, numbness, and sadness. Children and teens who are grieving the death of a loved one need to share their feelings and experiences as they move through the healing process. At Judi’s House, we provide facilitated support groups for children/teens, ages 3 to 18, who have experienced the death of a loved one (parent, sibling, grandparent, friend, etc.). Children and teens meet with others their age every other week for one to two hours. Parents and caretakers also have the option to meet in a facilitated support group to share their feelings and receive ideas for helping their children. There is no fee for service.
