A non-profit corporation which must comply with the policies and regulations established by the G.O.E.A., the State agency which provides the Council with most of its revenue - which has a primary function to improve the quality of life and provide services to the elderly (60+ years of age) of Concordia Parish, La.- provide direct services to the elderly to promote and prolong maximum independent functioning in their own homes -keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of aging - generate funds and resources, provide information about the elderly to other agencies and governmental bodies - operate under the direction of a twelve member Board of Directors.
